Labyrinth: Caverns of 2073

Technology: Torque Game Builder (1.7.4/1.7.5 hybrid)
The "Labyrinth: Caverns of 2073" engine has been heavily modified to create a unique look and feel to our game.
The largest change was a pass-through system on scene windows. This allows us to overlay nearly a dozen scene windows over each other, and the engine takes care of passing the mouse events through to the scene that should deal with them.
We also modified the base scene object to allow for scale, alpha, rotation, and positions to be animated with ease-in and ease-out.
We also feature a custom scene object that allows us to render nearly 25,000 hexes very efficiently.
In addition to all of this, we have built several custom algorithms: torn paper jigsaw puzzle, random caves, hex-based visibility and lighting, and path finding.
